FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WILL YOU GROOM PETS IF THEY ARE ON SEDATIVES OR HAVE MEDICAL ISSUES?

Yes, depending on how serious your pets medical issues, aggression or anxiety are. Please remember that grooming can be a stressful time for your pet, and we want to help to the best of our ability. Grooms like these tend to require more time and we will need as much information as you can give us. After discussion, we will use our best judgement for your pet and our groomers safety.
Please do not withhold information.

DO YOU OFFER SERVICES FOR OTHER HOUSEHOLD PETS?

Although we love all animals, we do not specialize in any other besides dogs and cats. If you need your Guinea pigs nails clipped or a birds beak trimmed, we will unfortunately not be able to help you, but if you would like to contact us, we will try our best to help you find a place suited for your pets needs.

DO YOU HAVE BREED RESTRICTIONS?

No restrictions! Every breed of cat or dog is welcome through our doors! We do ask however, that if you have an aggressive pet to let us know ahead of time to properly prepare for your pet.

IF MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET, WILL YOU TAKE THEM?

Absolutely! If anything were to happen to your pet in our care (such as seizures, pre-existing conditions, or accidents) we would call you immediately and decide together what is the next best step for your pet.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY PET BE GROOMED?

Each pet is different so no one answer is right for every cat or dog. They all have their own lifestyle, routine and diet, or external factors and internal factors. The general skin and coat cycle is 4 weeks so it is usually recommended to have grooming done every 4-6 weeks. At Bubble Paws we will create a personalized grooming plan to meet you and your pets needs.

DO YOU TAKE WALK IN APPOINTMENTS?

We can better serve pets when we know which pets are coming to prepare ahead of time. Nail trims and some grooming appointments can be scheduled same day, or sometimes within the same hour. Please call if there is any kind of rush or emergency and we will do our best to help you.
